I've been going to Dorea for eight years now, and I shudder to think how bent up and gnome-like I'd be without her.

The Restorative Bodywork office (map) is conveniently located in
Lower Allston, the Montmartre of the 00's. Sessions are by appointment and parking is available. The 64, 66, 86, 70 and 70A MBTA buses stop nearby - it's a short walk from the MBTA B-line Harvard Avenue stop and a slightly longer walk from
Harvard Square.

Whether you have an injury that has persisted for weeks or everyday stress has made you stiff and achy, Dorea does a wonderful job of providing pain relief through her healing massages. Since I began treatment with her, I sleep better and have found relief from tension back and headaches. She provides a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere- I couldn't imagine going to see anyone else!

Rates
Generally sessions last an hour - the hourly rate is $90.  I have a long standing discount for Avid Recyclers, Feminists, Car-poolers/sharers/people who try to do good things for the planet.  Also if you are fortunate enough to have health insurance there is a discount for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Harvard Pilgrim users.

Sometimes a longer session is necessary or just nice - the rate for the 90 minute session is $125 - the above discounts apply.

Dorea is intuitive, knowledgeable and focused on healing. She has helped me many times over the years with great results.
